Method

I had to redo my method since my topic kind of changed and I thought this was more suitable and accurate to investigate my SRP. Here you go then…
The materials used in the experiment was a jar of hot water, a table lamp, Bostik’s Blu-Tack, a thermometer, a stopwatch timer, a glossy paper which is also the same quality as a poster paper, and a wooden lid of a box to act as the wall the poster sticks to, and a stove.
The three methods that was used to analysis the stickiness of Blu-Tack was holding it over the stove, over the steam of the hot water and leaving it near the table lamp. The top of the glossy paper was stuck to the wooden lid. The stove was set up at a low setting for the fire so it would not burn the paper or wooden lid. At the same time, the stopwatch timer was set up to start timing when the glossy paper stuck onto the wooden lid was held over the fire. Throughout the whole process, glossy paper stuck on the wooden lid was kept at a close watch for any burning that might happen. The stopwatch timer was stopped when the glossy paper dropped off the wooden lid. This method was repeated several times. The same set up process as the method before was done. Instead of the holding it over the stove, it was held over a jar of steaming hot water. This method was also repeated several times. The same process to set up the equipment as the other two methods was also done for this method. As the stopwatch timer started, the wooden lid with the glossy paper was stuck on was left 3cm from the table lamp. When the glossy paper dropped off, the same method was repeated several times.
